This workshop by Les Tyrala and Wayne Paskerian will cover the cutting of clock glass which, with the right tools and technique, can be done by the individual. Since the removal, cutting of glass for tallcase arch top dial doors, and installation is challenging; a PowerPoint will be used to show the process. Also, the cutting of circular and elliptical glass will be covered. The session will end with a chance to practice cutting on provided tools and pieces of old glass. Glass beveling requires the skills and grinding laps of the professional glass polisher. Both Les and Wayne are long-time Chapter 8 members.
