President's Message

Welcome to our first Spring meeting of Chapter 8. I hope you will all respond to this notice in a timely manner. It helps us greatly when we can advise the luncheon caterer on how many meals to prepare, and also saves both you and our Chapter money. Please note the slight increase in registration fee. This was to provide the attendees, (after many requests) with some additional refreshment at mid-morning which we felt was necessary.

We have also been trying to correct any errors that may have occurred with regards to current Chapter membership dues. If you have any questions or wish to reconfirm you status, please contact our Treasurer, Wayne Paskerian. If you use the E-mail, please clearly identify the subject as Chapter 8 Member Status. It will insure Wayne's opening the E-mail and responding.

Lastly, there are many skilled workshop and luncheon presenters within our own Chapter membership. Please share some of your knowledge with the rest of the Chapter. Contact any of the Officers or Directors listed on this notice. It's time to give back.

Please be present at Lunch time when we will give a Special Appreciation Award to Richard Hauck, former Officer and longtime contributor to Chapter 8.

Thank you -- Burt Kassap

The Silent Auction table (8: 30 to 10:15) - enables you to sell a few items without the need for a table. Fill out a slip at the table with your minimum price you will accept for the item. Members can then write in their bids during the course of the auction. The cost to you as a seller is only $3.00 PER ITEM. The charge is payable in advance and applies whether item sells or not.

At the same table or at the registration table in the hall you can buy a ticket for the 50-50 raffle. YOU get 50% of the total pot and Chapter 8 benefits from the other half.
